Steamy...

Now don't get too excited...I'm merely talking about the weather. I really don't think I'm going to deal with the heat out west. See it all starts a few weeks ago. I'd been at my new job for only a few days and Claire (who is from hockey) was turning off our air conditioner. You see it's quite noisey and it was fairly cool back then. As she reached for the switch however, she received a nasty shock!!! We then had to call the electrician and he screwed the cover shut which means we can't change the settings on the air conditioner without unscrewing it all again.

This means we haven't been using it at all and with 35 degree days on the way....it's going to get mighty toasty!!! That means a) I need more work shoes and b) I need a few more skirts as all I was wearing were pants. So I need to look at my skirt supply and decide which ones are work worthy and how many more I should get.

You know what else is steamy??? My friend Jen!!! Tomorrow she is doing this really hard flute exam in the city and I know she's going to rock at it!!! I've heard her play and she is soooo good!!!

Well anyway...I'm slightly bored and a tad hungry...hmmm, 12mins of work left...what to do???

Oh, I know I'll insert some lyrics and I want you to guess where it's from...

How beautifully blue the sky,
The glass is rising very high,
Continue fine I hope it may,
And yet it rained but yesterday.
Tomorrow it may pour again
(I hear the country wants some rain),
Yet people say, I know not why,
That we shall have a warm July.

How long did it take you???
