Strange Things I've Seen Recently

Now I was going to write an outraged post last week, but I didn't make the time to do so and I was reminded of that today when I saw two rather odd things. The first was a car driving towards Castle Towers shopping centre and ever 3 seconds the alarm would sound and the lights would flash. I only wish I had been fast enough to video such a strange occurence so that I had some proof.

Secondly, while at the dentist today (my new fillings were hurting so I got them fixed and he did it free of charge which was just lovely) I was paying attention to the tv above me when a scary and rather strange ad came on. It started with an old man rounding a corner into his bathroom with a rose in his teeth (Tango style). The camera then showed his wife in the bath (bubbles covering up to her chin). The old man then proceeded to do a little bit of a strip tease, going so far as to be only in his boxers. Needless to say I was so shocked I don't even know what the ad is for, but the next frame shows them in the bath together at different ends.

Lastly, just last week, January 5th, I was walking through the supermarket when I noticed that hanging at the end of one of the iles was a purple bag with eggs on it. Upon closer inspection, the packet said HAPPY EASTER!!! I hope other people are as outraged as I was to see it. I was tempted to buy it merely for the chocolate value along, but instead I bid it good day and walked away with my head held high. I know Easter is only a few months away and some people like being well prepared (my uncle has started planning for Christmas this year) but couldn't they at least be excited about Australia Day first???

    hi sarah.
i am going to speak very plain in this comment. i am not going to make any funny comments, nor will i degrade myself in anyway. I am speaking very slowly in my head. Although i do have this building up of energy that i would love to release into this comment, i mustn't, as i am being plain.
